JKSET 2024 Notification Released, Check Application schedule, Important Dates, Eligibility Details, Selection Criteria, and Link Here Now: To fill assistant professor positions in J&K and Ladakh Union Territories colleges and universities, the state eligibility tests for Jammu & Kashmir (JKSET) and Ladakh (LASET) have been released for the year 2024. This eligibility test, which will be administered by the University of Jammu, is scheduled for October 20, 2024. 41 individuals will take the test at the centers in Jammu, Srinagar, and Leh.

On June 5, 2024, the test announcement was made public. Online applications will be accepted starting on June 11; the deadline for submitting applications without incurring a late fee is July 5, 2024. Eligibility Details

  • Candidates who want to be considered for JKSET/LASET 2024 must fulfill certain educational requirements. Candidates must have graduated with a Master’s degree or its equivalent with at least 55% of the possible points from an accredited university. The SC, ST, and PwD candidates only need to meet 50% of this requirement.
  • Applicants may also apply provisionally if they are still awaiting their Master’s degree results or if their exams have been postponed.
  • Holders of PhDs who passed their Master’s degree exam by September 19, 1991, are qualified for a 5% aggregate mark relaxation.

Application Fee Details

The JKSET/LASET 2024 application price varies depending on the category and payment deadline. The only ways to make the payment are online via integrated gateways with net banking or credit/debit cards. The following is the fee schedule for the various categories:

Selection Criteria

Two papers make up the single stage written exam used in the JKSET/LASET 2024 selection procedure. The purpose of the exam is to evaluate each candidate’s aptitude for teaching and research. The eligibility certificate for the position of Assistant Professor is not given to candidates who pass the test without first submitting their supporting documentation for verification.

To sign up for the JKSET/LASET 2024, take the following actions:

  1. Visit the University of Jammu’s official website, i.e. www.jujkset.in or www.jammuuniversity.ac.in.
  2. Read the crucial guidelines for online submission carefully.
  3. Select the category for which you are applying along with the Union Territory (J&K or Ladakh).
  4. Use the online payment gateway to pay the examination fee. For future reference, print the fee receipt and make a note of the transaction reference number.
  5. Make a password and register with the transaction reference number. Upload your signature and a recent photo in accordance with the requirements.
  6. Complete the application form with personal, contact, academic details, and choices of centre and subjects. Double-check the information before submission.
  7. Finally, submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
  8. Ensure you have preserved the transaction reference and application form numbers when downloading the admit card.
